Web 2.0 for Schools ebook

A few months back I posted on a slideshow that I created called, Web 2.0 for Schools. Since then a number of new web 2.0 sites have come around that can also be used by schools. I decided to create this as a free digital book that people can view/embed/download. I've added 7 new sites since the presentation for those that have already viewed that.

I feel that web 2.0 is a popular resource in education and I plan to continually update my resources on this as frequently as possible. For that reason I decided to add it to my box account as well that you can download on the right menu screen of this very blog.

Download and view the ebook below...

CK-12

CK-12 is a site I just learned about from David Andrade's wonderful blog. This is a great site for free digital text books that are aligned to state standards. These books are on any number of subjects and can be downloaded. There are also nice apps available for mobile devices.

I highly recommend checking out CK-12 by clicking here!!

ePub Bud

ePub Bud is a site that has been getting a lot of press online lately and for good reason; it is a great new site for creating your very own digital book. However, there is a lot more you can do then just that...you can also upload any file and turn it into an ebook (a la Bookrix), and best of all mail in an actual book and have them convert to digital format. This is something I have not seen from any other site before.

I highly recommend checking out ePub Bud by clicking here!!
