Sangha

Sangha is a new (free) iOS app communications/calendar app for schools.  This is a great app that gives teachers/parents the same calendar across any platform.  This way educators can schedule anything they want (i.e. parent conferences), classroom reminders, etc. and then parents can sign up via a e-signature form.  Also, teachers can send messages w/ attachments as well as private message others and organizations.

ClassTag

ClassTag is an interesting new site that I just found out about from Free Technology 4 Teachers.  ClassTag allows educators to create a class directory and schedule appointments w/ parents.  The way this works is by integrating a calendar feature where educators can create "slots" where parents can then sign-up.  This helps avoid people get signed up for the same time and avoid the use of paper/handouts.  Also, this is a great way to share announcements w/ parents to help remind them of upcoming events.

Poindle

Poindle is a nice new web tool that allows users to schedule an appointment.  This is ideal for educators being that it works on any browser based device and lets them schedule appointments w/out the hassle of email or voice mail.  Educators are using it to schedule te
am meetings, parent teacher meetings, TLA appointments, specials such as (music/tutors) and more.
