Musicshake

Musicshake is an excellent new site for creating music that I just found out about from Larry Ferlazzo's blog.  This is a site that allows users to create copyright free music straight from a browser.  Best of all, there is an educational portal which allows students to create all the music they want to share/download for one low price.  Everything is done from the browser and is very easy to use.  A user selects a theme, and then clicks on blocks next to the instrument they want to hear.

I highly recommend checking out Musicshake for education by clicking here!!!

Virtual Keyboard

Virtual Keyboard is a fun little site that I found out about from Free Technology 4 Teachers.  This is a great site for playing a keyboard and exploring all the different sound and effects that come w/ that.  Also, a person can play w/ chords and has a variety of different instruments to emulate.

Tony b Machine 3

Tony-b Machine 3 is a super fun site for creating digital music.  This is a very easy to use site where a user just clicks on a keyboard to get the desired effect.  A person can change the tempo, key, arrangement, etc etc.  A created song can be saved public or privately and can be created from scratch as well.

Songza

Songza is a super fun site that I've been hooked on a lot lately. This is a great site that not only acts a search engine for music, but it also creates a "radio station" that you can share w/ others to enjoy your play lists. Also, it interacts nicely w/ Facebook which is a nice plus.

I highly recommend checking out Songza by clicking here!!

Loop Labs

Loop Labs is a site for creating music that I was familiar w/ but was reminded after reading a post on Free Technology 4 Teaachers. This is a site that is very similar to Garageband or Myna. All a user has to do is select a music track and instruments to create their song. Then by clicking on a music timeline they can hear what they recorded. The ability to add a voice is also available as well as sharing and download as an MP3.

I recommend checking out Loop Labs by clicking here!!
