Superprof

Superprof is an excellent site for finding an online tutor in any subject matter.  However, not only can a person find a tutor for any subject in any area, it is also a great place for educators looking to become an online tutor as well.  Also, Superprof makes it easy to view and rate/comment on tutors to help curate a list of the most effective tutors for them.

Learning which is ideal during school and camp closures especially during this pandemic and summer.  Varsity Tutors is ideal for K-12 students and can be used for any subjects such as: foreign languages, coding, Math, Chemistry, and more.  Best of all, Varsity Tutors can be used for 1:1 instruction or even for group learning.  Students can use Varsity Tutors as a great way to integrate Self Paced Learning and Blended Learning.

Student Lance is a site for online tutoring that I just found out about from one of my readers.  This is a nice site that allows for students to post requests/questions for problems in subjects they are looking for help in.  Tutors/teachers can then answer these requests and even charge how much it
would cost for them to help a student.

Jukeboxlessons is a new site for online learning/tutoring.  The way this works is a educator can sign up to teach any subject/lesson and charge what they want.  Students then can browse and find what they want to learn from educators around the world.  This is all done either through Skype or Google Hangouts.

Universal Tutors

Universal Tutors is a new (beta) site for students or educators to find or become a tutor.  There are lots of sites that offer this but what I like about UT is that the online environment allows for audio/video chat, instant messaging, and an interactive whiteboard w/ the Wolfram Alpha equation engine built in (ideal for math equations).

Nerdi is a new (beta) site for online teaching/tutoring.  This is a great place for educators to tutor others on subjects that they are experts on.  An educator sets their own price and uploads any tutorials/materials they have.  Once this is done, others can then sign up to learn these topics and learn at their own pace.
