Buncee for Thanksgiving

Buncee easily one of my favorite Web 2.0 sites for education has just released a nice collection of presentations for "Fall Projects".  Buncee's are beautiful looking presentations, greetings, eCards, posters, or pretty much anything that can be put on a digital canvas.  Through their educational portal, educators can create, manage, and assess student projects in real-time.  Best of all everything is done in a safe environment and there lots of educational resources and lessons to be found on Buncee's website.  These projects are being use to flip a classroom, differentiate instruction, project based learning, and much much more.

I highly recommend checking out Buncee's Fall Projects in their "Ideas Lab" by clicking here!!!

Buncee

Buncee is one of my favorite Web 2.0 tools for creating engaging presentations.  This is an excellent learning tools that educators can use to "flip their classroom" or guide instruction on any subject.  Students love using Buncee for a wide variety of purposes such as: digital storytelling, creating posters, and more.  It's a very simple site to use that has users adding clipart, video, text, etc to create a dynamic and interactive presentation.  Best of all, is the educational portal that allows teachers to create student accounts and manage/assess all student presentations in a safe environment.  Finally, a Buncee can be embedded into a site/blog which makes it ideal for sharing w/ a wide audience.

9Slides

9Slides is a fantastic site/app for adding video/audio to a presentations.  The way this works is simple, a user uploads a presentation file (PPT, Keynote, PDF, etc) and then can either add audio to narrate their presentation, or even a video.  This is great for doing a Pecha Kucha style presentation and ideal for "flipping a classroom".

For a brief demo view below...

Swipe is a new (beta) site for creating stunning looking slideshows/presentations on the web.  This is all done through an easy to use drag-n-drop interface to add: text, audio, video, images, and more.  Once a presentation is finished a user can share it via a link which makes it ideal for those viewing on a mobile device.

9 Slides

9 Slides is an innovative new (beta) site for creating presentations/slideshows.  This is done by uploading slides/photos and video and then syncing them together.  The video and picture can by synced together and played side by side in the same window which makes presenting much more effective.  Once a presentation is completed it can then be shared online w/ others or embedded into a site or blog.

Muvee Cloud

Muvee Cloud is a redesign of the excellent site, Shwup. This site is one of the best at creating "muvees" which is a combination of videos and photos. It is done in a very easy user interface w/nice polished design. These movies are online so can be shared or collaborated on w/ others (friends/family can upload photos/videos to an existing project), and are set to private by default which is ideal for education. Also, there is easy Facebook integration and the ability to send invites to others via a unique URL.

I highly highly recommend checking out Muvee Cloud by clicking here!!!

Best of all educators and students can register for free!!

Present.me

Present.me is new (beta) wonderful site for uploading powerpoint presentations then adding a narration. The finished product actually combines the two so you see the presentation and the narrator as well. When the presentation is done you can share it w/ others via a URL or embed into a site. If you upgrade your account you can then activate privacy options and others as well.

I highly recommend checking out Present.me by clicking here!!

Thanks to Richard Byrne's excellent blog for the tip.

Projeqt

Projeqt is a new (beta) site for creating nice visual presentations. After giving it a try I must say that it is very user friendly w/ a drag and drop interface, but a bit slow on execution. I uploaded some photos but was having trouble w/ video.

What makes Projeqt very appealing is the number of ways a person can share their finished product.

SlideSix

SlideSix is a website very similar to SlideShare for hosting slide shows. Not only can a person upload any: PP, Open Office, or Keynote presentation but they can record audio right from the site. This is ideal when wanting to create a sound track/narration to a slide show and not having to worry about uploading a audio file.

I'll probably be adding some presentations up there shortly!!

I highly recommend checking out SlideSix by clicking here!!
