Cite Bite

Cite Bite is a site I just found out about from, Free Technology 4 Teachers. This is site that is designed for creating links to specific quotes on a web page. This is very easy to use, just copy/paste the text you want to use and then a URL and Cite Bite takes care of the rest creating a link to that text.

I highly recommend checking out Cite Bite by clicking here!!!

Font de Music

Font de Music is a site I just found out about from Larry Ferlazzo's excellent blog. This is a great site for animating text w/ music, and publishing via a link. It can also be directly sent to Twitter. My only gripe is that it doesn't generate an html code which would be nice for embedded into a site or blog.

I recommend checking out Font de Music by clicking here!!

Blixy

Blixy is a site I learned about from Zacro English, the excellent blog from Alexandra Fransisco. This is a site for creating embeddable widgets. What makes Blixy so nice is that no account is necessary, just click on the effect you like and either email it to a friend or embed into your site/blog. Also, there are a ton of effects to choose from such as: motion clocks, scrolling text, etc.

Blixy is very easy to use and creates some fun looking graphics for users to display on their page. Give Blixy a try by clicking here.

Below is my text example...

Diagrammr

Diagrammr is an excellent site for making a diagram/mind map by just typing text. It really is so simple, all you have to do is type in your text and watch how the diagram develops. Another feature which I really like is once your image is finished you can either change the layout or embed into your site.

This is a definite resource I can see being used in the classroom and I highly recommend giving it a look.
