Shared Copy is a wonderful bookmarklet that can be installed in most browsers for bookmarking & annotating websites.  Also, a user can share these pages through: social networks, email, and more.

Instapaper

Instapaper is a cool site for bookmarking that I found out about on Twitter from the wonderful education consultant, Naomi Harm. After signing up a user installs via drag-n-drop a bookmarklet into their browser toolbar. Then after finding a site that you want to read later just click on the button. This also works well for using on a variety of mobile devices.

Markup

Markup is a great bookmarklet that I found out about from Free Technology 4 Teachers. This is excellent for annotating (drawing or writing text) on a website and then sharing it w/ others.

Silentube

Silentube is a bookmarklet that I found out about on Twitter from the Edtech guru, Ozge Karoglu. This bookmarklet is easily installed in a browser for eliminating all the background "noise" in YouTube, Vimieo, or Viddler.

Zootool

Zootool is a nice bookmarklet that is a cross between Diigo and Zemanta in that it is for bookmarking your favorite media (sites, pics, videos, documents) and then sharing them all over the web. The bookmarklet is very easy to use w/ a nice user interface and is linked up to the most popular social networks for sharing.
