Hubii is a cool new (beta) site that I just found out about from Free Technology 4 Teachers. This is a great site for finding newspapers from around the world by clicking on a Google map. These maps can be subscribed and saved into your "mapazine" (playlist).
I highly recommend checking out Hubii by clicking here!!

Revolver Maps
Revolver Maps is a great site for finding embeddable/interactive globes. This is great if a blogger/web publisher wants to show who/where their traffic is coming from.
Below is one example...
Thanks to Richard Byrne and his award winning blog for the tip!!!

MyPicsMap
MyPicsMap is an interesting new site which is a mash-up of Google Maps and Flickr. This is really a nice tool to use if you are a Flickr user. You can track where pictures were taken and then click on the thumbnail to blow up the image.
Also, you can search out any exsisting Flickr user and visualize where their picture is from. Think of it the way iPhoto 09 organizes photos w/ Google Maps.
Give it a try by clicking here.

For another more detailed review, check out Free Technology for Teachers.

Scribble Maps
Scribble Maps is a site I just found out about on Free Technology 4 Teachers. SM lets you draw, create text, add markers, etc on a Google Map, then either save/share/embed/create a widget for others to view.

SM is such a great resource for teachers who use Google Maps. From my example below you can see how you can edit/alter a map to your hearts desire. I can see this being used by history/geography teachers or by lovers of Google Technology to help facilitate their teachings.
Give it a try by clicking here.
