ClassClimate

ClassClimate is a fun little site that I just found out about from Free Technology 4 Teachers.  This site allows students to login and rate how they are feeling by clicking on a word.  It kind of reminds me of ClassDojo w/ less features.  A teacher then gets the results in real-time and view the word/emoji to see how their students are feeling.  Best of all are the detailed reports/graphs to help teachers assess behavior.

ClassDojo Groups

ClassDojo the world famous behavior/positive reinforcement manage system for schools has just released their new "group" feature.  This highly requested feature will allow teachers to award points to not only an individual but a group as well.  This is ideal for educators who like to put their class into groups or teams to spark collaborative learning.

Here is how it works...

ClassDojo Groups enables teachers to group students any way they like: table groups, reading
groups, house teams, project groups and more. Teachers can easily encourage a team for any
skill important to their classroom with just a single tap. Each group will keep its own running
total, which students love to maintain a sense of accomplishment and a desire to keep going!
Group points will still show up on student profiles alongside their individually award points, so
that students can see their progress from home and so can parents without any extra work.

Devices

ClassDojo Groups will work and sync across any iOS/Android device and any computer.

ClassDojo

ClassDojo is one of the most popular free "web 2.0" sites on the web for educators.  This fantastically simple site to use has teachers all over the world integrating ClassDojo into their classroom to help track and manage student behavior.  This is done through a very fun and simple user interface that has educators add a point (for positive or negative behavior) to reinforce appropriate behavior.  Also, CD allows educators to generate detailed classroom reports and share them w/ others (educators/parents) via email.  Finally, ClassDojo has one of the best resource sharing pages I've seen that allows educators to find out how others are using CD in their class, and print out resources too.
