Kids Flashcard Maker is a wonderful iOS app by INKids for creating beautiful looking interactive flashcards.  These flashcards can contain recorded audio, video, images, etc.  They are ideal for teachers looking to teach kids words or other concepts.  Also, students can create their own flashcard decks for Spelling practice and more.

StudyShuffle

StudyShuffle is an excellent site for kids that I covered before.  This is an ideal site for teachers to create online flash cards for students to study.  This is done in a safe environment and these cards can contain, text, images, and more.  Also, SS offers student tracking, the ability to bring up cards that are more difficult for students, and various assessment methods.

Printable Flash Cards is a site I just found out about from Free Technology 4 Teachers.  This site is great for finding free printable flashcards on a number of different subjects such as: Math, Geometry, Language, etc.  Also, there is a nice printable flash card creator for those people that want to make their own.

Flashcard Machine is a great site for making interactive flashcards.  These flashcards can contain text and images and are great for sharing.  A user can also browse through a variety of different categories and even use one of their mobile apps for studying.

Study Blue

StudyBlue is a site/app that I just found out about from an email I received.  This is an excellent site for making flashcards (via photos or audio) and notes.  Also, w/ their recently released mobile app it helps students learn in a more efficient and accessible manner.  This is a great time saver compared to "old school" notes/flash cards.

Word Dynamo

Word Dynamo is an excellent new (beta) site for creating flash cards.  However, there is more to like then just creating flash cards, there are educational games and quizzes as well.  Basically, everything uses a word list which users can create or can browse for others, then they search for what they are looking for by grade level or subject.

Muchobeets

Muchobeets is another free flash card creation site. Users are able to view, share, and create flashcards. While not as robust as some other flash card creation site, Mb is easy to use and has a nice look to it.

Flashcard Friends

Flashcard Friends is an excellent new (beta) site for creating and sharing flashcards. Being a social networking site as well allows others to view, search, and modify existing decks of flashcards. There are some nice features such as hot keys, the ability to shuffle and select cards etc etc.

ProProfs is a great "all in 1" site for educators/students. What I mean by that is that there is so much to do here that this is almost like a one stop shopping of sorts. This site has: educational games, flashcard creator, quiz maker, and even a poll creator.

This is done by creating a "egg" which can contain, text, images, links, etc. To make an egg is simple enough and is like creating a document/flash card.
