BlockSurvey

BlockSurvey is an excellent site for creating surveys, polls, and more.  What separates BlockSurvey from other similar sites is their security and how they encrypt a user's data.  That means there is no tracking, no cookies, no digital "fingerprints".  Finally, a finished poll or survey can be embedded into a blog or site.

PollHut

PollHut is a nice site for creating on polls or surveys.  This is done via a simple user interface, where a person can create a multiple choice question and add a picture.  The poll can be set to public or private and even allowed to let other users add to it.  My only gripe would be the ability to embed a poll into a site but a person can only share it w/ a unique URL.

I recommend checking out PollHut by clicking here.

Polltogo

Polltogo is a wonderful app for any mobile device for creating polls and getting instant feedback. Ideally, this is a much cheaper solution then for those districts that use Activotes or some type of voting system w/ their smartboard.

Fluid Surveys

Fluid Surveys is a site I just found out about on Twitter. This is one of the most robust online poll/survey creators around w/ a very nice drag/drop interface. Also, FS has a great number of user options, such as the ability to export results (pdf, powerpoint, excel, etc) embed into a site, and create templates. This is a paid site like most survey creators are but the free version should be more then enough for most educators.
