Diffission EDU

Diffission EDU is a excellent new (free) iOS game for students to practice their Fraction skills.  Diffission EDU is a fun game aligned to Common Core Standards that has players slicing through shapes to form fractions.   Best of all is the teacher dashboard for tracking student progress as well as a "Challenge" mode to help modify a student's learning.

• Partition shapes into parts w/ equal areas.  Express the area of each part as a unit fraction of the whole.
• Explain equivalence of fractions in special cases, and compare fractions by reasoning about their size.
• Reason abstractly and quantitatively.

Fraction Ninja

Fraction Ninja is a nice little iOS game that has users throwing shurikens at a stick to form the correction fraction.  It's a fun game that has high replay value as it has users playing through story or survival mode and tracks users progress.  It also has different achievements that the players must gets and shows the total number of correct and wrong answers.

Slice Fractions

Slice Fractions is a wonderful educational iOS app for learning the basics of Fractions.  This app has students slicing through objects to make the corresponding fraction.  Also, there are lots of goal orientated actions to solve to make the fraction, such as freeing a mammal from ice or lava.  Finally, Slice Fractions is aligned to Common Core Standards and has high replay value as users try to unlock all the special hats (fun stuff) for their mammal to wear.

Fractions

Fractions is a nice iOS app (free today) that is good for helping students learn the different aspects of fractions.  This is done in a fun way that helps users learn how to reduce and convert mixed/improper fractions.  Also, a student can take a brief 10 question test and not only get results but see the correct answer w/ corrections.
