MeeGenuis is a great site for younger students that will either read a book to student while highlighting the text or can be personalized to change the story up (similar in the way mad libs work). There is quite a collection of children books on here for teachers to like.
I highly recommend checking out
MeeGenuis especially those in the K-2 age group.
Thanks to
Zarco English for the tip!!
I was just exploring this site last week as well. Another idea I was thinking about was to use it as a writing tool too. Since you can edit the text, you can have students find places to add, for example, adjectives. Or, change a verb. Great way for the young children to practice parts of speech or develop "style." Or, you can easily add some "errors" and make it a fun proofreading task.
