Lure of the Labyrinth

Lure of the Labyrinth is a super cool game for pre-algebra middle school students.  The game is linked to state standards and is easy to integrate into any curriculum.  The game is divided into three wings each containing puzzles and covers areas such as: proportions, variables, equations, and more.

I highly recommend checking out Lure of the Labyrinth by clicking here!!!

For another innovative math game, I highly recommend checking out DimensionU.

  1. We are currently running a national math challenge using Lure of the Labyrinth as the platform. Those interested in enrolling their middle grades students (grades 6-8) in the Challenge can do so at http://wwww.lureofthelabyrinth.net. Here students play the games in teams of 4-6 and have the opportunity to win prizes like BrainPOP, Lenovo Thinkpad Tablets and books and software from FableVision. You can help us learn a little about how students collaborate and share strategies. Teachers can win a grand prize trip to visit Boston/MIT and meet the game's developers.
