PDF to PowerPoint

PDF to PowerPoint is the free classroom productivity iOS app from Cometdocs.  This is a nice simple app to use to upload a PDF and turn it into a Powerpoint.  This is very handy for mobile learning and those teachers and students needing to convert their PDF's into presentations.  Here are some more features from their promotional email...

  1. The app can be used completely free.
  2. There is no other free PDF to PowerPoint iOS app on the market.
  3. Slides and text recognition is accurate and precise. The presentation will have the same layout as the original PDF, but will be completely editable in Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  4. Scanned PDFs (for example ones created with a mobile scanner) are supported as well.
  5. Size doesn’t matter, large files are also supported.
  6. Conversion quality is the same for all types of user. Premium subscription is valid for a lifetime and influences only the speed of conversion delivery.

      Flip Snack

Flip Snack is a new (beta) site that I just found out about from the amazing, iLearn Technology. Flip Snack is a very nice looking site that reminds me a lot of Bookrix or Mixbook. All a user has to do is upload a PDF and then choose options on how they want their flipbook created. Once the book is created it can then be shared on your favorite social network or embedded into a site. The book can also be downloaded. The only other feature I'd to see is the ability to order a hard copy of your book like you can do on Mixbook.

I highly recommend checking out Flip Snack a try by clicking here.

      Vidinotes

Vidinotes is a site I just learned about from the excellent blog, Zarco English. This is a site which lets you comment on uploaded videos (flv. format only) in text/audio, and then create a PDF of those notes.

The reason I like Vidinotes so much is because of how easy it is, and that there is nothing out there quite like this.

Below is a screen shot of "capturing" video to turn into notes....

      LOOP Apps

LOOP Apps is another of a hundred apps that do PDF file conversion. While it vaguely resembles Comet Docs or PDFVue, LA does have it's differences.

First, Loop Apps is ideal for combining PDF's into one file. This is easy to do just by adding your files and clicking on the combine button. Also, there is a great feature which lets you create ESIGN documents. This means you or others can digitally sign documents, a very nice feature to have and one you don't see every day.

Finally, you can add web pages to be converted into PDF's and signed/published as well.

This is a very handy/easy site to use. I recommend giving it a try by clicking here.
