Educreations

Educreations is a new free app for the iPad that I first heard about from the blog, Hack Education.  This is a great app for creating a screen cast on a whiteboard.  This whiteboard allows users to draw in different colors, write/draw over photos, and resize images as well.  Once done a person can share their recordings on their favorite social networking sites.

Tony b Machine 3

Tony-b Machine 3 is a super fun site for creating digital music.  This is a very easy to use site where a user just clicks on a keyboard to get the desired effect.  A person can change the tempo, key, arrangement, etc etc.  A created song can be saved public or privately and can be created from scratch as well.

Flash Paint

Flash Paint is a simple online painting/drawing application.  A user can create their own piece of digital art and then either save it to their desktop or share it to an online gallery.

Garfield's Comic Creator

Garfield's Comic Creator is a fun site that I just came across for making an online digital comic.  Like most similar comic creator sites a user can add: characters, props, text, etc.  While this site doesn't have a ton of options to choose from it is a fun site to use and an easy way to introduce digital storytellers to the younger students.

ProProfs

ProProfs is a site I reviewed a few months back that has just their quiz making section of their site, and more specifically for math.  This new math quiz creator has lots of nice features such as: a user friendly visual editor, a very simple to use formulae creator, the ability to add complex operations, etc etc.

Kaylee's Education Studio

Kaylee's Education Studio is a brand new site that is excellent for educational resources and printables.  This site has a nice polished look (made in Weebly), has lots of ideas for classroom management and teaching ideas.

YouTube for Schools

YouTube for Schools is the ultimate solution for using YouTube in Schools.  This has been a long awaited feature developed for YouTube that is finally here.  Educational videos can now be shown in a controlled environment.  What this means is that all comments have been removed and searching by students only brings up YouTube EDU videos.  Also, teachers and administrators can login to create playlists and view lessons and courses.
