WisdomMaps is an innovative site that uses "mind maps" to teach History and Humanities in a digital setting.  This is done using the innovative site Mindmeister, where "mind maps' include, text, images, audio and more.  Also, WisdomMaps covers a wide range of topics in History/Humanities such as:
Ancient Egypt, wars, religion, and more.

Storyboard That for Back to School

Storyboard That the wonderful resource that educators everywhere are using for a variety of educational purposes (i.e. timelines, digital storytelling, project based learning, etc), has just released a bunch of ideas/activities on how to use Storyboard That over the summer.  These activities cover a wide range of topics from story starters, reading projects, digital storytelling, and more. 


Storyboard That is an excellent learning tool w/ educational portal, where teachers can manage, track, and assess student accounts in a safe environment.  This easy-to-use site has an abundance of teacher guides and lesson plans, that makes it easy to integrate into any classroom or curriculum.

ChatterPix Kids

ChatterPix Kids is a free mobile (iOS/Google Play) app that is super-fun way to give any object a "voice".    All a user has to do is upload a image, draw a line, and record a voice, ChatterPix does the rest.  This is a great/safe way to introduce digital storytelling and project based learning into the classroom for younger students.
