EdVisto is a innovative new site that I just found out about from
Larry Ferlazzo's excellent blog. EdVisto lets educators create "virtual" classrooms, then add members/students. Once the students are entered, a teacher can create groups, start a chatroom for group discussion, and create assignments/stories. Best of all are the clips/videos (i.e. similar to iMovie), and the educational portal that lets educators control users, privacy settings, etc. Once a story is finished it can then be shared w/ others. EdVisto is a fantastic site to use project based learning, digital storytelling, and more.
I highly recommend checking out EdVisto by clicking
here!!!
