Plants by Tinybop

Plants by Tinybop is a fun iOS app that helps students (ages 6-8) learn about different topics in Science such as: plants, animals, and different biomes.  This is all done in an inventive way where kids interact w/ different dioramas and control different elements and animals and watch what happens.  Also, PBT labels the different object inside of the biome as well as let a student leave a question through their educational dashboard.

The Human Body

The Human Body is a free (this week only) iOS app that is perfect for teaching students about the human body.  This app is completely interactive and covers such items as the: heart, lungs, eyes, skin, etc.  Also, there is an innovative record tool which allows students and parents/educators to record their conversations while they interact w/ this app.

Energy for Life

Energy for Life is an excellent iPad app in the series of Science/Biology apps from iDi Creative.  This is a stunningly beautiful looking interactive app that focuses on the: digestive, circulatory, and respiratory system.  Students learn in an engaging way as the watch vivid animations and interact w/ the  different system inside a dinosaurs body.

Energy for Life is a wonderful new iPad app by the creators of Miracle of Life and Experience Life.  This beautifully designed interactive app takes students through the different systems of the body: digestive, respiratory, and circulatory.  What I like about these series of apps from iDiCreative are the easy to understand explanations and interactive animations that engage students and allow them to learn in a fun way (Energy for Life does this by interacting w/ dinosaurs).  This is a fantastic app for MS/HS students as well as Health/Biology/Science teachers.

Experience Life is a wonderful iPad app for Health/Biology teachers looking to introduce students to the different internal systems in the body.  This beautiful looking app covers the different internal systems such as: senses, nervous, and musculoskeletal.  It engages the students through interactive activities and games that the students complete using the iPad.

Experience Life is a wonderful new iPad app ($1.99) designed by the creators of Miracle of Life.  As w/ any app created by IDi Creative this is a beautiful looking app.  Excellent graphics and smooth interaction makes this an engaging experience for students.  This app takes students through the "Experience of Life" by going through different systems in the body, such as: skeletal, muscular, nervous system, and more.  Students will interact w/ through different exercises and games as well as explore all sorts of inner workings of the body.  Also, EL is available in Spanish as well.
