Chomp

Chomp is a excellent search engine for iOS apps for the iPhone, iPad, and Android.  The results come in thumbnails w/ pics and a star rating as well as links to a review.  Also, a person can search for free apps as well.

Encyclomedia

Encyclomedia is a video encyclopedia that is great for searching for articles and videos on any given topic (think United Streaming). What separates this from just any other search engine is to then take those results such as video and then share it w/ others via an embed code.

Mashpedia

Mashpedia is a wonderful new site that I just found out about from Free Technology 4 Teachers. Mashepeida is a search engine that searches many different engines such as Digg, Twitter, Flickr, news, blogs, feeds, etc. It is a real-time encyclopedia.

GoT

GoT is a site I just learned about from Alex Fransisco's excellent blog, Zarco English. This is a mash-up of Google Blogs and Twitter and is a really nice search engine to use when searching for whats new in technology.

Number Gossip

Number Gossip is very cool site which acts like a search engine for numbers. For example, all you have to do is type in any number get a variety of information such as: origin, examples, etc etc.
