Beanbag Learning is a great social network/site to find a tutor. This is done in a nice user interface that is familiar to most social networks, such as adding friends/teachers, rating, commenting, etc etc. Also, students can find resources on specific topics that teachers are offering.I recommend checking out Beanbag Learning by clicking here!!!
FYI, I don't think this site offers online tutoring, just the ability to find a local tutor and communicate in a social network environment.
