Refseek is a great new (beta) search engine that I found out from the award winning blog,
Free Technology 4 Teachers. It is a academic search engine designed for students and researchers and searches a lot of resources such as: documents, web pages, books, encyclopedia, etc.
What I find so fascinating about Refseek is the ability to search in documents for any giving topic. This really is a nice feature for students/educators.
